Where do we find rest and security?
Think of the word ‘Blank Check’. I take a white piece of paper, put my name at the bottom and then tell the loving God ‘You can write up there whatever you will!’ I can only do that when I am a child, when I am convinced: the writer is the Father-God and everything that he writes is for my best.
The great anxiety into which modern people have fallen can only be overcome when we jump into the heart of God. It will not be overcome through the power of weapons and might. God should do it all for us!
For this we say: Mater habebit curam! Mother will take perfect care.”

IMPULSE
Trust in God like a child—that doesn’t mean that everything will go smoothly. But I have an anchor in the storm. Trust in God like a child—that won’t take the problems out of the way. But I have someone who will help me overcome them.
Trust in God like a child—that is not only something for those who have a lot of time to pray. His nearness fills each of my moments. His love has even counted all the hairs on my head. (see Mt 10,30) Trust in God is like a “joker” that I always have in my pocket.
Am I always aware of God’s nearness and love?
Even in dark times, can I hold firmly to my faith that there is someone there who carries me in his arms?
