Honoring Sister Christamaria Brueck
for her Commitment to Teaching Computer Science
Koblenz, Germany October 25, 2024 – Sister Christamaria was honored as part of the
25th anniversary of the Faculty of Computational Visualistics at the University of Koblenz.
Her exceptional commitment to promoting young talent in computer science was honored at an academic ceremony.
In the presence of about 300 guests, including students, alumni and experts, Professor Dr. Fislake lauded Sister Christamaria. He emphasized, “Your students have not only acquired a wide range of technical and IT (Information Technology) skills, but have learned also how to overcome together major challenges. Today, we thank her for her tireless dedication and her unshakeable belief in the good in people.”
In recognition of her valuable work, Sister Christamaria received 500 Euro, to be used to subsidize her projects and initiatives in IT. This award is a sign of appreciation for her achievements and an incentive for everyone committed to supporting young people.
We, the community of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary, are proud of Sister Christamaria and her commitment. Her commitment and inspiration encourage us to continue working together to educate and develop young talent. Together, we will break new ground and use our enthusiasm for technology and creativity to inspire young people with values and thus help shape the future.
