We can breathe again. We are a redeemed humanity.
Heaven is open to us again. J. K.

Advent—a time to make wishes.
What is great fun for children is sometimes difficult for adults. When asked last year what they associated with longing, 2500 people mentioned the following in particular: “missing someone/something,” “wishing for something, setting goals,” and “wishing for something that is not currently achievable.” It is understandable that many said they felt sad about their longing. Yes, voids can be painful or even agonizing.
Advent—a time to make wishes.
It gives us the inkling that we do not hope into nothingness.
There is One who can satisfy our longing – in his own way. One who is fullness in himself and therefore cannot help but give fullness himself. A “King of all kingdoms” and “Savior of all the world at the same time.”
