ALWAYS THERE

July

There is nothing that can prevent the good Lord from touching and meeting us.  J.K.

ALWAYS THERE

“I still need to make my scroll,” remembered my mother. She was to travel soon with a group of pilgrims to Israel. She wanted to follow in the footsteps of Jesus – and the footsteps of the evangelists who wrote on scrolls the experiences of people with Jesus. After all, the fact that

God “writes history with us”

certainly did not apply just to the people of Israel and Jesus’ contemporaries, but we also experience that today. God acts with and through people or events!  Therefore, it is worthwhile to ask time and again:

Where are doors opened unexpectedly in my life?

Where did I meet resistance? What has touched my heart – or the hearts of others – recently? By cherishing and interpreting such experiences,

we can get an idea of how God works today

– on trips, as well as in the here and now.
