Reception of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary in Argentina 2018
During the ceremony, many emotions moved the hearts of all present, but one was common to all and filled the whole day: JOY.
Joy shone from the faces of the NOVICES, from the beginning of the solemn procession from the Provincial House to the God the Father Church, where the reception took place, to the final blessing that they received in the Shrine. Joy about the fact that finally, after many contributions to the capital of grace and a courageous decision, their trusting, humble and childlike YES, which they gave to God the Father, would become reality for their whole life.
The joy of their FAMILIES when they saw how much peace the novices radiated because they know they are loved by God, and that Mary will shelter and house them under her protective mantle.
The joy of the GIRLS’ YOUTH who had been praying for two years. Under the motto: “Under the eyes of the Father, little Mary, be a living shrine”, they were connected with them in their striving and have given their contributions to the capital of grace.
Last but not least, there was the great joy of the SISTERS who, with the warm motherliness that characterizes them, received their new sisters in the community with open arms and with a warm smile.
To feel like and to be a big family

God and the Blessed Mother have given us the grace, through our Father and Founder, Father Joseph Kentenich, to experience ourselves as a FAMILY. In my opinion, this was the atmosphere that prevailed during this great celebration. Our dear novices, who in humility, faithfulness, purity and valor have devoted themselves entirely to the vocation given by God, all join us in common prayer and joy.
I invite all of us to continue to be united in prayer, so that all those who are fully committed to the mission of Schoenstatt will find the necessary clarity for the path of holiness to which God has called them. If you have the opportunity to attend such an impressive and blessed celebration, do not hesitate to do so.
I greet you with joy from the shrine of the Mariengarten in Tucuman
